ILLUSIONS offers a series of enchanting events featuring carefully selected performers and magicians. Experience everything from optical illusions and installations to street shows and magic school, where you can try your hand at the art of magic.

Sometimes the magic unfolds on a grand stage, and sometimes right before your eyes. With magic tricks and sleight of hand, the performers will make you laugh, gasp in amazement and question your own senses. And perhaps, if you are lucky, you will lose touch with reality for just a moment.

A touch of magic to Horsens' DNA

During the autumn half-term holiday, the streets and alleys of Horsens are transformed into a magical arena. Experience performances in venues across the city, at cafés and restaurants, along the pedestrianised shopping street and in other places where you least expect them.

The festival offers experiences for the whole family as well as performances aimed at adults. What they all share is a desire to spark your curiosity and enthusiasm for magic and playful surprises, whatever your age.
