A fishmonger’s with proud traditions
For more than 60 years, Fiskehuset in Norsminde has supplied the East-Jutlanders with home-smoked fish and delicious fish dishes. Being located right on the harbour quay, it is a regular destination when the sun is shining and they take a trip to Norsminde.
At Fiskehuset, you are guaranteed quality and good workmanship. At the fishmonger’s, you can buy a selection of smoked products such as freshly smoked mackerel and hot-smoked salmon. You can also find a selection of fresh fish and delicacies. But the really big hit is the delicious fish cakes that make people come from far and wide.
Delicious food and beautiful views
The restaurant in the fishmonger’s has a simple menu with a focus on a full fish and shell food menu. You can enjoy a “shooting star”, fish’n’chips, a fish platter, and much more. If you are not in the mood for fish, you can also sink your teeth into a juicy beef burger. The restaurant is open for brunch, lunch, dinner and takeaway
The old building was renovated in 2018 and expanded with a new dining room, which means that, now, it is also possible to enjoy the lovely surroundings and the fantastic view at the entrance to Norsminde Fjord in the wintertime. In summer, there is plenty of space on the large terrace right on the water.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is informal and relaxed. It is nice to be here, both for adults and children. Whether you want a quick fish fillet with French fries or a three-course meal, Fiskehuset serves good food at reasonable prices.
