This exciting museum is located in a building from 1853 where physical accessibility was not a top priority. However, ramps, elevators, etc. have been installed in the museum, making it possible to move around the exhibition areas on different levels. Some of the ramps can be very steep and may be challenging to navigate independently. The staff is more than willing to assist if needed. In some areas, the corridors may be narrow, but there is enough space for wheelchairs to pass through. Visitors with mobility issues should be aware that the museum is quite large and requires a fair amount of walking.

Most of the activities in the playland are not accessible for wheelchair users, as they involve crawling, jumping, and similar activities. However, there are arcade games that can be operated from a wheelchair.

Wheelchairs can be booked prior to your visit. There are gravel paths that wheelchair users can use, although there are some small inclines along the route. Guests with companion cards (documentation of assisted help) have the opportunity to bring one companion for free. The park's safari bus is equipped with a hearing loop (Telecoil). The nearest parking is on Kildegade, but there is time-limited parking available. Wheelchair users can also park in the courtyard, but they would need to go to Kildegade to access the rear entrance.

Horsens Public Library, (branch: Tobaksgården), has wide entrances and accessibility throughout the building via an elevator. There are handrails by the stairs, and ample space between the shelves to accommodate wheelchair users and those with mobility challenges. In addition, there are designated parking spaces for people with disabilities and accessible bathrooms.
